Hostess                                 

In my role as hostess, I greeted and welcomed our customers and guests, coordinated their seating, liaised with the serving and supporting staff, checked up on our customers and guests to ensure everything was to their liking, and at times would process their final bills and would function as cashier.  I would also coordinate with upper management on a daily basis, with regards to the logistics of our restaurant and staff, and attended regular meetings.

Objective

I wish to further my knowledge and experience in a new area and/or sector, at this point in my life.  I have a thirst for learning and a dedication to my work, which I plan to use to fuel my pursuit in this endeavor.  I would also like the opportunity to put my degrees into use in a professional setting, and look forward to a professional position at any level.

Foreign Languages

Completely fluent in Greek and French, with marginal Japanese.

Extracurricular Activities

Captain of Roycemore High School basketball & volleyball Varsity teams.

Awarded “Coaches Award” and trophy for volleyball, in 2007.

Took ballet, modern dance, and gymnastics lessons.

Took extensive art and art history lessons.

Was active in theater and performed in plays; lead role in Romeo and Juliet.

Active in drawing, painting, pottery, exercise and fitness, nutrition, cooking, and gardening.

Enjoy foreign film, teaching myself foreign languages, and make-up artistry for daily use as well as special effects make up.
