Walt Disney World Resort theme parks are located in the U.S., as well as the international resorts such as Disneyland Paris. Package Merge Agent (PMA) aggregates package data from multiple sources and serves as a central repository for package information. Pricing is a custom solution that accepts messages from booking clients and provides product price for requested packages or component. Packager creates packages and publishes to all downstream systems, which all systems require packages to book reservations.

 

Disney Direct Connect interface provides near real-time connectivity to Disney resort room

availability as well as resort room, room + theme park ticket, and room + add-on component booking, modification, and cancellation transactions. External Channel Manager (ECM) is a middleware solution that allows External Channels (Wholesalers/Travel Agencies) to get product/inventory availability/Room Availability, Room Cancel, payment and resort room bookings. 

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

Roles & Responsibilities:

·               Reviewed the Architecture / Design documents delivered by the Vendors, and the team.

·               Involved in migration of Websphere Application Server (WAS) 6.0 to Websphere Application Server 8.x with OS upgrade from AIX 6.1 to AIX 7.1 and database upgrade from Oracle 10.3.2 to Oracle 11G database.

Project: AT&T - BIT Application (Billing Inventory Tool)

The Billing Inventory Tool (BIT) provides inventory, conversion, and life cycle support for VTNS customers. The BIT application plays a vital role in the conversion and life cycle requirements of VTNS customers.  This application was created to support the VTNS product – a bundled offer of voice, data, inbound and outbound. The current VTNS application is used to process 65 VTNS refiles per year, slightly more than one per week. The BIT application has the ability to capture a current AT&T billing inventory from a variety of inventory systems and bring the inventory into the BIT application to be viewed and processed.  Once in BIT, the system uses these inventories for Conversion of existing inventory, Maintenance of an existing inventory, Mechanical conversion, and Disconnect.

It is basically a provisioning system for Ports, PVC’s for FR, ATM, ETH, POS and IP over FR networks and also maintains the inventory of the same. ICORE services variety of ATT OSS like BMP (Trouble Ticketing System), AISE (Ordering System), Netscope (Maintenance troubleshooting and information system) Alarm view (alarm reporting and correlation), CNMS (customer network management), CMT (capacity management tool for network design), and others.
