The goal of the PAR project is to reduce the costs associated with participants PIN generation process. Through this project, John Hancock hopes to eliminate the costs associated with the current PIN process.  The benefits of this project are:

1)      The elimination of the costs associated with the current PIN process. Savings as a result of increased adoption rates of the participant statement eDelivery service (printed statement suppression).

2)      Increase the numbers of participants who are signed up for eDelivery and decrease participant statement print by reducing the volume of printed mail.

3)      Change all web-validated participants to eDelivery upon launch of PAR. This activity will be conducted for a select group of participants based on pre-determined criteria.

Corp Agency Profile Migration deals with import of corporate profiles from different GDS systems and sync’s back to GDS systems after changes made if any to corporate profiles. All GDS (Apollo, Galileo, Sabre & Amadeus) have adopted webservices as technology for exposing their business functionality to customers.

INSIGHT is Credit Suisse's global Credit Risk Monitoring system and CDT is the front end to the Insight database and is the Investment Bank's global credit risk monitoring tool. It provides real time availability to the front office and more detailed trading and inventory limit / exposure information to the back office.

T+1 Controls is a system which checks the quality of the data from source systems before data gets loaded into Insight systems. DCW (Data Controls Workstation) is a GUI application which sits on T+1 Controls. This project provides mainly data control functionality to the business users who can use this application to act on the data. Business users will use this application to adjust/regress the data to mitigate the potential exposures.
