as follows: Bristol
West Insurance, Davie, Fl (10/2010-12/2010) Software
Engineer Consultant I
was tasked as the sole developer to analyze, design and develop the Cash
Receipt Reconciliation intranet solution. This required knowledge of the cash
receipt workflows and the ability to represent the information in a relevant
manner at the same time give the end users the ability to reconcile real time
for those exception related cases. We
used JSF, Ajax components, Websphere 6.0, EJB 2.1, JAVA 1.4, HTML, JSP. Assurant
Solutions, Cutler Ridge, Fl (2/2010 - 11/2010) Software
Engineer Consultant I
was tasked specifically to work with Exceed and Accord platform for
Assurant’s Enterprise solution from the browser to the host mainframe. Exceed
uses Web browser-based screens, which extend mainframe performance to
multiple distribution channels such as call centers, the Internet and mobile
devices. Exceed's
architecture uses ACORD-standard XML messaging to isolate technology within
processing layers, allowing users to quickly make changes to the software
without changing the underlying code. I
accomplished from small to medium new programming code in xsl, xslt,
xsd, javascript, accord xml, Exceed communications framework for request and
response and Exceed Unit of Work object orientation COBOL programs. I
made specific changes to the communications framework handlers in Websphere
6.0 translation of the Accord xml on the Application Server. We where
connected via the browser to the host via JCA. I
Concentrated on Assurant’s Exceed search functionality I
was responsible for Receipt Search Project all of the components such as the
web browser (Java script, templates, metadata) used by the VB.net handler to
retrieve a session from the web browser and to support proper paging when
more than ten account result set. Next, I coordinate and applied changes to
Websphere translation xslt and accord xml and the communications manager in a
way to support the request and response for detail lines and the list
items for paging. We used the Mainframe as our application server as we used
the CSC Exceed FrameWork of object orientation on the mainframe. We
communicated via the HAL server programs to receive specific services needed
by DBO(data base Objects) and specific BPO (Application Controllers) to
service a custom Receipt Search functionality. Net1Promotions

written for multiple languages using property files with a different LOCALE
to handle translations. JSP - HTML pages were written using the STRUTS
framework as well as EJB SESSION and ENTITY beans for storing data in the
local database; using DAO objects for querying local database or the back end
server. Application would invoke stored procedures in the MySQL
database for storing session information as well as user data. ACTSYS
project supported and enhanced their JSF/Seam/ applications that represented
their future solution by adding/resolving requirements for the mortgage
industry against their architecture. We used hibernate 3.0, Tomahawk, etc. Mac
OS, UNIX, Linux OS platform and shell scripting. eDiets

management system. In addition, I modified the classes and configured Spring
and verified the Hibernate calls where correct. We connected remotely via
JMS. Unix
and Linux OS platform and shell scripting and DB2 jdbc. Florida
Power & Light (June 2007 – Dec 2007) Juno
Beach, Florida Java
Consultant www.fpl.com I
worked with FPL's Advanced Applications Team in the Technical Services
department in support of their Intranet Web predictive specialized
Applications via Interfacing with APIs using Web Services to access the
remote servers for PI tags statistical information about the health of FPL
plants. I
used CORBA as a Back end broker to serve up business rules requests to the
Swing Based Application for status management of the remote plants using the
Webs Services to retrieve the data. PI
tag is a user defined type of collection of data that represents an
engineering measure of statistical captures points from a specific date and
time range of a particular occurrence of spikes achieving a stated upper and
lower requested range. These
points and times given from the sensors of the plants, was captured based on
a certain tag criteria conditions. I
developed web pages in support of their predictive graphical display and
alarming web pages as well as in their Black Berry (BB) Applications. These
pages took the statistical detail data and rendered a jfree chart diagram to
represent the resulting predictions and alarms. I wrote applications pages
for the Black Berry Devices in areas of Searchable PI Tags, Alarms using PI
Tag criteria, etc. I converted and wrote applications to search for PI
tags via web Services and displayed their results in a formatted way that
would be intuitive and easy to understand on the remote devices. I wrote web
pages as a dashboard that represented the health of a particular tag in
meeting criteria’s specifications in a summarized way. In
our GCM client application written in Swing, I was tasked to convert several
major sections into a web based equivalent. I used many design patterns such
as the mediator, singleton, etc. In
our Task Manager Web based applications I was tasked to fix and develop this
application system which was not functional at the time. I corrected the code
and added my own code fixes to be able to render the pages appropriately.
There where over 200 hundred areas of changes to fix this application. This
web application used CORBA and Oracle using the Mediator and singleton design
pattern. I
have converted many applications from normal JSP code to AJAX using
sourceforge open source tools. I used current sample models in Struts
implemented into our test environment. I
used HTML, Web Services, JSP, Servlets, JAVA, JavaBeans , Java Script, AJAX
Sourceforge tools, Black Berry html and Java Script, CORBA, Struts, poolman,
DBCC, Tomcat 6.0, Eclipse Europa, Swing, Struts, Oracle, SQL
Server, jfree. Unix
and Linux OS platform , shell scripting. Metlife,
