Security Master

Sec Master is Securities Repository which accepts securities from different sources, consolidates and validates the securities and then pass it on to different downstream systems. As soon as engine sees new data inserted it picks up the securities or index for auditing. There are various types of audits that we do on securities like missing index, zero return, late index etc.

Responsibilities:

·   Involved in all phases of SDLC – Requirement Analysis, Design, Development, System Integration Testing and Performance Testing

·   Write front end code for developing new pages using Adobe Flex, ActionScript

·   Used core Java to develop Multi-Threaded Java Engine

·   Configured and deployed the Application in WebSphere

·   Overridden existing Flex Components and customized it according to the client needs.

·  As an Onsite Coordinator, leading and monitor the onsite/offshore development team

·  Assigning the work to offshore depending on the priorities and review the deliverables from offshore

·   Assign the tasks to team members as per schedule

·   Used ClearCase for version control

CUP: Collateral Unified Platform

CUP automates the process of identifying deposits that need to be collateralized, communicates the collateral requirements, receives the input of the collateral, and then calculates the daily interest and other account and collateral related.

Responsibilities:

·   Involved in all phases of SDLC – Requirement Analysis, Design, Development, System Integration Testing and Performance Testing

·   Involved in creating basic flow diagrams and prototype model

·   Design java classes using MVC Architecture

·   Communication with Client & Onsite team

·   Developed and reviewed the Unit Test Plans.

·   Worked as a Flex/Java Developer on the enhancements pertaining to report generation of clients and brokers.

·   Used http service and remote object connectivity to connect to Java.

Sybase to Oracle Migration Phase

Sybase to Oracle project was migration of database Objects tables, procedures, triggers, index from Sybase database to Oracle Database. This project also involved transfer of data from Sybase tables to Oracle tables.

Worked on Data transfer with the help of ETL tool Talend Open Studio. The data was manipulated according to the needs of the customer with the help of t-Map and then migrated to Oracle tables.

Also Developer a tool called Quick Compare.  It was developed for comparing data, table structure between Sybase and Oracle database.

Responsibilities:

·   Involved in development activities using Java

·   Involved in creating basic flow diagrams and prototype model

·   Used PVCS for version control
