I was hired as a senior PHP developer but quickly moved into system architecture. Currently I am working with the business intelligence team to build a data warehouse for in depth data analysis.  I also had the opportunity to work with the marketing team to build a robust recommendation engine using industry proven algorithms.

I was hired to write their new Affiliate Mall product based on the Zend framework.  Within nine months we released six malls around the world with thousands of merchants in numerous currencies and languages.  We recently released a ‘brand-able’ version.  I now maintain the code as product lead.

I was originally employed to develop and write the SDK for the company’s new risk analysis program. It was required to parse a MISMO (mortgage industry’s XML) document, validate it, and create a concise report on the data within the loan document.  Because of the new schema awareness in XSLT 2.0, it made it the perfect choice.  It was clean, simple and easily accessible to others while not being tied to any particular operating system.  Within a few weeks the SDK had been written, tested and deployed.
   I have since moved into rewriting the entire web portal with PHP 5 and the ZEND framework, using AJAX calls to populate data generated by ‘the system’ and stored in a MYSQL database.  The new portal is being designed and written to meet the banking industries stringent security requirements for transmission, handling and storage of personal data.  .

·  Designed and wrote SDK using the Schema Aware XSLT 2.0 Saxon Parser.

·  Rewrote entire web portal using Object Oriented PHP5 and Zend MVC Framework.

·  Incorporated jQuery into new portal.

PERL API Developer

I was given a 3-month contract by their OPB Development team to write a ‘Proof of Concept’ and develop an API for their new S.A.S. Hosted Exchange Project.  The API was required to work with their current XML RPC configuration and interact with the third party provider’s XML server.  The code was written in Object Oriented PERL using the SOAP Module.   With the help of their staff, we were able to finish before the expected deadline and below budget.
