Jan ‘15 – Present      Senior Software Developer, Lockheed Martin, Baltimore, MD

DCPS will support SSA's disability workload, which consumes over half of SSA's operational work years and is the most complex component of its programs. The public (via the internet) files disability applications, or by phone, or in person at one of the agency's local field offices. The field office determines basic technical eligibility requirements. Thereafter, if the basic eligibly requirements are met, the field office routes the claim to a disability determination case processing site (DDS), which could be a state or federal component. The DDS is responsible for the medical determination for the disability. In the event of a denial of the disability, the insured has the right to file for reconsideration and appeals of unfavorable decisions. The reconsiderations are processed at the state DDS and appeals are processed federally by a SSA hearing office

 

·   Received award for my contributions towards Jaws, Magic, Dragon - and for resolving many outstanding issue.

·   Interacted closely with SSA to work towards making system 508 compliant and encouraged use of Aria-tags to achieve.

This product is a comprehensive solution for management of hazardous materials and provides a complete solution to manage and report hazardous materials, which might affect the wellbeing of employees. It is an end-to-end solution used to manage hazardous materials from the time they leave the supplier to the warehouse at the client’s locations, and when distributed for use and the waste management. It provides the in-built reporting capabilities to present data to state and federal agencies in an approved reporting format.

 

·   Involved in requirement capture and analysis, technical feasibility, designing, testing, production support issue for Java JSF and JasperReport implementation using Agile Methodology in an offshore/onsite model.

·   Implemented migration project to migrate oracle Reports to jasperReports.

·   Created High-level documents (HLD) based on System Requirements.

·   Create Application design documents (ADD) with detailed information about changed files and high-level pseudo code.

·   Participated in the test review meetings to review test cases.
