Description:

The Objective of the project is to build a Customer Data Mart for both Individual and Institutional Customers. The customer and the customer account information is gathered from North America.Using Tableau 9.0, I create Data Analysis report for manager to make decision.

 

Responsibilities:

l            Responsible for Data Profiling and Data Cleansing.

l            Based on WMS System and Edistock System, analysis those data and cleaning data.

l            Worked with the BI Developers for report development using Tableau 9.0.

Description:

The Main goal of this project is to build its first Data Warehouse of medicine and equipment suppliers. The hospital is venturing into Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence to improve its operational efficiency. The project involves huge data coming from hospital’s legacy data systems which then is extracted, transformed and loaded into a data warehouse.

 

Responsibilities:

l            Designing, developing and delivering data integration (ETL) solutions using Toad, Oracle, SQL Server and Data Warehouse platforms like Informatica Power Center.

l            Communicated with hospital’s BI group to discuss the issues and requirements.

l            Involved in all phases of SDLC from requirement gathering, design, development, testing, Production, user training and support for production environment.

l            Identified data source systems (Oracle Apps, IMS data, Legacy Systems, files) integration issues and proposing feasible integration solutions.

l            Extensively worked with Informatica performance tuning involving source level, target level and map level bottlenecks.

l            Extracting data from Oracle and Flat file, Excel files, XML and COBOL sources and performed complex joiner transformations, Expression, aggregate, lookup, Sorted procedure, filter, Router transformations and Update strategy transformations to extract and load data into the target systems.

l            Scheduled the workflows at specified frequency according to the business requirements and monitored the workflows using Workflow Monitor tool.

l            Used debugger in identifying bugs in existing mappings by analyzing data flow, evaluating transformations.

l            Identified problems in existing production data and developed one time scripts to correct them.

l            Fixed the invalid mappings and troubleshoot the technical problems of the database

l            Analyzing the source data coming from various databases and files.

l            Worked on Performance improvement on Database applications.
