inventory and billing systems. Combined disparate data sources into a central
operational data store for reporting and decision making. Erwin was the
primary tool for modeling and DDL Source code generation and database object
management. It was a relatively small and complex system that utilized
partitioning and parallel design. Informatica provided the ETL with
custom tools for reporting. Extensive PL/SQL packages are used to
load data, validate data and automate various data management
functions. This is the 1st system that Sports Authority has used to
provide a common, uniform view of their sales information resulting in much
better decision making for store manager for product placement. Veteran

for all design and development for the Veterans Affairs payment disbursement
and billing system. The system handles over 7 billion dollars a year in
Veteran’s healthcare needs nation wide. The heart of the system is a
multi-node Oracle RAC Data Warehouse modeled with Erwin and the database
utilizes partitioning and parallel query heavily to improve performance for
querying Dimensions and Fact tables. Talend and extensive complex PL/SQL
packages are used as the ETL components for legacy system data loading and
data validation processing while SSIS and Taland are the ETL components on
the remote SQL Server systems. Billing and payment information is
distributed from the data warehouse to hundreds of SQL Server data marts at
V.A. hospitals throughout the country. 3rd party .NET applications allow

Sr.
Programmer/Developer/Analyst Completely
responsible for requirements gathering, design and implementation of a point
of sale data warehouse allowing KBToys to do shopping cart analysis and learn
about customer behaviors. The data warehouse grew by about 1Gb
daily during the off season and 3-4 Gig daily before Christmas. Data
was extracted from legacy systems and registers and transformed using complex
PL/SQL. Various Oracle techniques were used to maximize performance allowing
data loads to complete in minutes dwarfing the performance of other systems
in use. The total data warehouse size was approaching 500G within the
