projects for EPM on the PeopleSoft platform and multiple data mart and
reporting implementations using OEM reporting tools included with PeopleSoft
like Crystal Reports and Cognos. Informatica and DataStage ETL were both
in use.
· EnCana Oil & Gas as a
Project/Program Manager which involved the custom implementation of a
dashboard, performance management and workflow application to gather data
from external sources and process it for enhancing the business processes and
shortening cycle times. The team was dispersed globally and all aspects of
the project were managed by me and my team at the business office. -
This was a lead Solution and Engagement Manager role with a cross team, multi
continent implementation using DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, .Net platform
and the use of Crystal Excelcius dashboarding and reporting to provide
just in time BPM related business intelligence and insight. The data involved
legacy oil and gas data of over 1 TB of data and of collecting data from the
field to get process and cycle time reduction to enable timely oil
exploration and delivery. In addition the delivery included regular business
and project update to the business to ensure that the projects and the
program was on track as per the business goals and objectives.
· Major Chemical manufacturing client DOW to manage the MDM effort to consolidate and cleanse part and product
data for uniform availability to users enterprise wide. Implemented the
consolidation, merging and establishment of data governance and stewardship
capabilities using the MDM platform’s features and tools. - This was an Oracle
ETL and a SAP MDM implementation for parts and products data so
that all business units in the organization had an uniform and single product
data and catalog that they could refer to for orders, PO, and billing purposes.

Outsourcing and support program for Michelin as a DSS Manager and Outsourcing Team Lead for leading a
MicroStrategy installation and support project to lead a blended team of
onshore and offshore personnel to maintain and support an EDW and 7 data
marts on an Oracle/SQL Server platform. - This was a lead Program
Manager role with implementation and support of an Oracle EDW with over 3 TB
of active data and 7 separate business specific data marts on Oracle and SQL
Server interfacing with a MicroStartegy reporting and analysis BI
platform. The ETL platform supported was Ab-Initio and this implementation
included more than 25 local and global resources that I managed to deliver to
a specific SLA that the business units had in place with the IT team.
