Developed tool using TALEND – ETL to update products used in our
automation tests. This job fetches online and instock data from application
database and updates it in our automation database server from where data is
passed to tests. This increased the stability of automation tests, reduced
false alerts in test reports logged due to offline products used in tests.
This tool also was used to fetch pricing files from other data servers and
use them to test price consistency for items across the web application.
