It can be classified as a chain of mid-range department stores based in Plano, Texas, a suburb north of Dallas.

 

The purpose of the Enterprise Size Optimization (ESO) project is to implement an enterprise-wide Size Profile/Pack Optimization solution. This project will resolve current system and process limitations by introducing logic to account for lost sales as well as provide season (time-based) profiling capabilities.  In addition to creating more accurate size percents, this project intends to leverage this size percent data to drive recommendations of optimized pre-packs to be consumed within our Assortment Planning systems.

Project involved creating ETL to extract and transform data for the SAS for its profiling part.

Project involved extracting data from multiple source systems with sales, stockout and product information. The part was challenging because of the amount of data.

The project involves development and support of the data warehousing area of Account, Sales and Inventory Management. Includes development using various ETL tools like Informatica 8.1, Informatica 8.6, IDQ and also creating reports for the business users.

CVS, one of the major Pharmaceutical companies of US. The project involved the creation of reports and test the reports using Informatica 8.1 and Unix shell scripting was used to test the results. Informatica 8.1 was used to create the source files for the Base SAS which created the reports.

·         Created ETL jobs for the extraction from various source systems to load the data to the DataMarts from which SAS used the processed data.

             and effective store locators and other innovative location based services.

The project involves development of support tools and applications for the end users to integrate location based services in their websites. This project is being executed using Agile development process supported by Test-driven development.

      Project: Integration Testing Team

 

Developing a mock backend system, so that the user can test his application even without having the connection with the backend database system. The testing framework also handles all the exceptions and return types needed as per the API being called. Technology used was J2EE .The backend data was configured in the xml and JAXB was used to parse it and write to the xml.

 

The API call being forwarded to our mock testing framework and according to the API being called and input passed the expected output and exceptions if any are also returned.

Thus the mock testing framework is a boon to the unit testing of the system even without having a network connection to the backend database.
