Canadian Siebel
Implementation (5 M$) based on Siebel Consumer Goods 7.7 on Oracle
RDBMS.
The Project
Lightyear was to implement Siebel Consumer Goods’ Sales Volume Planning
(SVP) and Customer Investment Transformation within Canada, sharing a
common platform with U.S. Siebel Confectionery implementation. This
project supports the business processes surrounding trade promotion, fund

accomplish this, 14 complex EIM interfaces were developed. They were
covered through the following entities: Account, Vendor, Product,
Catalog-Category, Price List, Product Shipment (Actuals), Product Baseline
(Open Stock), Case Quantity, Paiment, and Target. Each of the interfaces
needed to be shielded from the US data through the use of the Siebel
multi-org capabilities. The system of reference (the source system)
for this data was for the most part an existing SAP platform.
