ECG SIGNAL ANALYSIS:
Modern medical
science using latest bio-medical instruments has made dramatic progress in
prolonging life by overcoming diseases. The use of computers for processing
electrocardiographic data and its ability to record large amounts of
relatively artifact-free data, especially after the onset of signal in the
form of electrocardiogram has been an encouraging and a valuable step
forward. However, new problems have been sprout with the developing
technology. The time associated with accuracy has been set target to
the biomedical engineers across the world.
Clinical observations of ECG signal on
complex graphs with 12 leads information would
be a laborious job when time is one’s primary concern. Having to decide
various causes of disease and its origin, a cardiologist has to buy extra
time to attend the subject. This report would be an innovative tool in
exploring various kinds of cardiac diseases and its cause. This tool accounts
for different morphologies, based on a sequential criterion, logically
relates the symptoms or features of ECG signal and evolves a specific
disorder. The logic relates features of amplitude, time period, axis and morphologies
of P wave, QRS wave and etc...
This sequential inputs at very possible nodes and its decision making, drives
the algorithm and feedback loop in updating the enormous information into
this design.
