American Airlines -                                                                                                                                    

§    ETL Architect for major conversion and re-engineering project to convert 35 year old mainframe Revenue System into Teradata utilizing DataStage 8.1 and Teradata.

§    Analyzed mainframe JCL, Sync Sort, CoSort and Forte 4GL code and translated it into DataStage ETL Design specifications.

§    The mainframe data contained revenue account data that needed to be merge into the MOSAIC Enterprise Data Warehouse.  The design required us to manage and redesign integration points for existing data in the EDW and redevelop a number of existing ETL processes.

 

American Airlines -

§    Architected a solution to automate a data quality process for Sabre’s Customer database and American’s Enterprise data warehouse.

§    Designed generic multi instance DataStage process that handles data quality and checksums for 47 source and target tables.

 

AT&T Wireless -                                                                                                                                             

§     Technical Lead ETL Architect and sole developer for the Scorecard Enhancement project

§     Converted legacy PL/SQL code into Informatica

§    Designed and built a new scorecard data model and automated the population of the data using Informatica. 

§    Performed source analysis, application design, technical design, created source to target mappings and wrote the ETL.

§    The Legacy process was manual and staged data within both Teradata and Oracle.  The enhanced process eliminated the Teradata environment completely and made it a hands free scorecard loaded into an Oracle data mart. 

§    The coding effort was completed using Informatica and UNIX korn shell scripting to handle file delivery and archiving.

§    The enhanced process allows AT&T to process the weekly scorecard within minutes instead of a couple of days

 

AT&T Wireless -

§    Technical Lead and ETL Architect/Developer for the Ericsson Prepaid Reporting project. 

§    Worked alongside with AT&T business users to provide an ETL and reporting solution from third party data provider.

§    Architected and modeled a Prepaid reporting data mart to support MicroStrategy reporting to track subscriber churn, usage and balance activity between BID and the Ericsson Prepaid database.

§    Architected a solution to match subscribers from BID to the Prepaid database.

§    Developed the Informatica ETL code to load the prepaid subscriber data mart.

§    Transitioned/mentored AT&T internal staff for production support and for potential further enhancements.

 

Blue Cross Blue Shield (HCSC)-                                                                                                   

§    Architected and modeled six data marts for the system and contracting reporting group to source and target Teradata database as well as SQL Server

§    Designed member matching approach to match member information from third party source files and systems to current data warehouse
