GHSAM offers management a comprehensive source that tracks assets from procurement through retirement. This project strives to deliver a global standardized IT asset management solution along with reporting through data warehouse. Citi technology users access Asset Manager Application globally to view and report on a variety of operations and inventory of IT asset in a centralized place and in a consistent way. It involves processing of numerous feeds from various Citi systems to add/update the data about assets throughout its life cycle. Also, there are jobs that process the asset data to provide routine transaction processing. There are some jobs that populate the source system data into the reporting schema to enable reporting through Business Objects. My area of responsibility includes:

It provides investment management services to institutional clients; serves individual and institutional shareholders through Main Stay Investments; offers retirement plans for corporations, multi-employer trusts, and individuals; delivers guaranteed products to both the qualified and non-qualified markets.

This project fulfills the specific reporting requirements of its Guaranteed Products division. The reporting capability is migrated from mainframe based RAMIS tool to Oracle and Business Objects. It is related to the information about contracts, funds, transactions, adjustments, periodic balances, journal entries, and various types of reserves related items about the current and future payments for these contracts. Dimensions like date, month, code, product, fund, contract, account, division, company are involved with this data. There are more than 70 reports that are based on the different types of contracts to show the transaction, balance, interest, reserve and other key information for specific period or to compare it for different periods.

I have individually worked on this at Client site and my responsibility covered the following items:

It has got 2 interfaces; web front end and feeds to facilitate loading of data into the system. Data comes from number of sources. Various types of reports are available to track the performance of the channel and these have been developed using sql, pl/sql and business objects.

As a Team Leader I was responsible for the following:
