HP App Builder: HP App Builder is part of the HP ePrint platform. ePrint is a feature which enables you to print from anywhere with a Web connection by sending an email to your printer's email address. HP App Builder is a non-programmatic application that provides a convenient way to create print apps, encouraging more and more developers to develop their own apps.

Roles/Responsibilites:

·          Was part of the core team responsible for design and development of HP App Builder functionality.

·          Designed and implemented Web based and command line tools which enables the app developer to develop their print apps.

·          Developed the monitoring module of HP App Builder module using JMX which enables liveness checks and manageability of the print apps.

·          Re-factored the Hp App Builder codebase to be used as OSGI bundles so as to enable modularity in the application.

·          Used mocking libraries like EasyMock and Mockito to write JUnit test cases for the code base resulting in increased code coverage of the application codebase.

·          Extensively used maven plugins like maven-bundle plugin, maven-jaxb plugin, maven-hibernate plugin etc to automate artifact builds and deployment.

·          Was part of the Scrum team taking part from sprint planning to implementation and sprint retrospective.

·          Provided support to deployment and testing team for technical issues faced while deploying and testing builds on Amazon Web Services (AWS) nodes in the cloud.

Dralion: Dralion is a Content Management System for Adobe’s online store. It is used to add products, create and change content, create and manage the online product offer catalogs, create campaigns (for promotions) and so on. Dralion is based on 2 tier architecture with the GUI based on Java Swing which communicates directly with a database (Oracle) in the backend.

Roles/Responsibilities:

·          Responsible for complete end-to-end functionality of the system including development of new features, maintenance and technical/functional support to users.

·          Developed new screens to support new feature requirements using Java Swing UI APIs along with Core Java and JDBC APIs at the back end to enable changes in the data model.

·          Completed Cold Fusion certification and played secondary roles in maintenance of Adobe’s Cold Fusion based applications.

Summary:             

Yahoo! Farechase: Farechase was a part of the Yahoo! Travel. It was an online reservation system for Airlines, Hotels and Cars primarily for US market but also covered Indian market. Basically it was a real time meta-search system in which we fetch data from provider sites and depending on the requirements present it on the front end.

Summary:             

GRP (Global Re-Engineering Project): GRP or Global Re-Engineering Project deals mainly with migration of the BP2S (BNPP Securities Services) from the old Mainframe based legacy system to the new Java based system, ACETP (Straight Through Processing). BP2S is a system which takes care of mainly Securities Trading, Client Services like Cash forecasting, Schedule Preparations for Corporate events, Settlement Center Activities, Reporting Activities and End to End Transaction Handling (Buying and Selling of Stocks) for our client BNP Paribas.

·          Adding new functionalities (enhancement) through open issues and change requests raised by the users.

·          Refactoring of the Java code/SQL queries from the performance point of view.

·          Was sent to Paris, France to work at the development center of the leading European Bank, BNP Paribas.  Was provided with functional trainings regarding the functional aspects of the project.
