Vormetric CoreGuard is an integrated data protection product that secures data-at-rest through the use of encryption, access controls and host integrity protection.

Ø       Architecting, designing and implementation of messaging protocol between Unified Server and Policy Enforcement Modules (PEM) for enabling centralized key management and thereby positioning the product for market leadership.

Ø       Design and implement PEM server using web services.

Ø       Design messaging protocol over soap using wsdl, xsd bridging agents and the CoreGuard server.

Ø       Provide lead role in defining, prioritizing and implementing common interfaces across PEMs with CoreGuard server.

Software Architect

 

The PacketSmart solution, offered in SaaS model, enables service providers to offer complete VOIP lifecycle management services to their SME customers. Micro appliance collects VOIP assessment data and pushes to PacketSmart and GUI pulls information from PacketSmart. Information exchange is using HTTP and XML. Data collected is stored in MySQL by PacketSmart.

Ø       Developed LDAP layer that provides micro appliance and customer provisioning for PacketSmart.

Ø       Designed and developed micro appliance / customer authentication for PacketSmart using HTTP digest mechanism.

Ø       Improved the performance of PacketSmart by 300%, reducing the cost, thereby improving profit margin.

Ø       Identifying an issue and developing a mechanism to notify customers of micro appliance non-availability in PacketSmart Swing based GUI application for ease of use.

Ø       Designed and developed a secured provisioning system using Java Servlets in Apache Tomcat.

Oracle Enterprise Manager is a multi tiered system that manages Oracle products over a network. This has backend agent, middle tier J2EE server and front end being web interface. Key achievements includes: 

Ø       Defining Interface for add on plug-in to hook on to Enterprise management agent.

Ø       Design and development of core plug-ins using HTTP and XML, OS system calls for multi platforms, JDBC and OCI for Database access in multi-threaded agent. Other core components include Scheduler, Blackouts and Ping system.

Ø       Relocation mechanism of Enterprise targets across agents that is used for fail over implemented at middle tier. This involved using Java and PL/SQL.

Ø       Define interface, design and development of Cluster target monitoring for backend enterprise agent.

Ø       Wrote Functional and Design specifications of components implemented.

Ø       Leading junior members in writing functional, design specifications and feature development.

Ø       Developed Unit tests for the features implemented.

Ø       Assist QA in writing test plans for the features developed.
