Database Architect/Applications Developer

Data Architect/Applications Developer for SETI Phase III User Interface (UX) and Services Engineering.Used the SDDC EA v2020 (To-Be Enterprise Architecture) as a blueprint to assist the SETI User Interface (UX) and Services teams in the development of 13 prototype applications. Developed a MS SQL Server 2012 (MS SQL Server Management Studio 11.0.3128.0) database to support the prototypes using database architecture as a guideline. Used Data Definition Language (DDL) text files to create the database, schemas, tables, columns, keys, constraints, and indexes (primary key and unique constraints). Bulk inserts Data Manipulation Language (DML) script facilitated in rapidly importing delimited text files of various sizes. CA ERwin Data Modeler r8 was used to create a Logical Data Model (LDM) of the prototype database.Created all SETI Services Event-Trace Diagrams (SvcV-10c) in accordance to DODAF principles diagrams in MS Visio. Systems Engineer/Systems Architect for SETI Phase II. Conducted engineering-based analysis focusing on required business capability and opportunities to modernize existing SDDC programs.Using the DODAF and Business Process Model and Notation specification 2.0 DODAF, produced models the SDDC EA v 2020, the To-Be SOA Enterprise Architecture for the year 2020. This architecture was comprised of 239 DODAF-compliant models; detailing 73 key business processes and the 521 discrete services, required to support these 73 business process in a fully-realized Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Utilized Consolidated Architecture Tool Suite: Architecture Builder Tool (CATS ABT), quality check lists, and MS Access VBA to assist in standardization of file design and formats throughout all architecture models.Enhanced a MS Access database by adding user forms, additional queries, tables, and functionality to assists all architects with ensuring DODAF compliance for all architecture artifacts and the development of the All View Integrated Dictionary (AV-2). Include the ability to ensure file names, titles, tab names, and dates complied with approved formats and were consistent throughout all architecture artifacts.
