Responsible for new software development, and maintaining existing Web-based applications

(including mobile and Web Services) to support the company’s external clients. My work

included creating and implementing various internal C-Sharp APIs to access 3rd-party vendor

software and Web Services (e.g.; ExactTarget, Salesforce, Pardot, Aprimo, and Bitly) to

support both SOAP and RESTful APIs. In this capacity, I also recommended strategy and

technology to support new product initiatives.

Implemented an Open Source testing solution for software development initiatives that

resulted in a significant error reduction. Additionally, created and implemented a SOAP

logging solution to provide traceability needed for 3rdparty vendors in problem resolution.

My tasks also included supporting various existing ColdFusion applications and websites that

had been previously written to support external clients.

Senior Software Engineer

Responsible for overseeing team development operations including managing software

development projects for the company.

Project design and development of an enterprise LAN-based billing application (using CSharp,

ColdFusion, SQL-Server 2008, WSO2 Middleware, JMX, WCF, and some 3rd Party

Controls). Security included use of SAML2 for SSO with other enterprise applications. All WCF

services are mediated on the ESB with proxy to a back-end IIS server supporting both SOAP

and RESTful services.

Technical design and development of Web-based Portals and Internet-based applications

(e.g.; Regional Building Construction Portal, Inspection Portal, etc.) using Web Services, GIS,

.NET, C-Sharp, ColdFusion, Flex, SQL-Server, Google Maps API, and JavaScript.

Consultant to the US Department of Energy for development, implementation, and

enhancements to Java based scheduling tools, Oracle Reports used for the Energy

Management System involving meters, energy, and transmission usage with statistical data

reports for DSW-based customers. I interfaced regularly with key DSW departments and

Operations to achieve goals. Developed and implemented regional interchange schedule

spreadsheet used for daily Control Area checkout at the DSW facility.

Consultant to the US Department of Energy for managing development team, testing,

deployment, and training of a large multi-node OASIS application for the Power Industry.

System Architect for new product development to support online energy and transmission

reservations, as well as deregulation initiatives for the Power Industry.

Managed product life–cycle support operations for enterprise environments at the company,

including LINUX administration.

Consultant to the U.S. Department of Energy as a Technical Lead for system enhancements

to the Western OASIS Node. Additional Operational support for real–time scheduling and

dispatch operations. Tasks also included support for Industry compliance for the Western

OASIS Node to support the NERC Standards for Open Access mandates required for

Transmission Providers (FERC Orders: 888, 889, and 2000). Included also was attendance at

Standards and Implementation meetings by NERC and FERC in connection with the Open

Access initiatives.

Technical and administrative lead for large Web development projects. In addition, Mr.

Beasley has provided technical designs for the development of several, database-integrated

Responsible for overseeing all software development operations and resource staffing for the

company. In this capacity, I also provided contract management for computer programming

support services at the Western Area Power Administration.

Developed an Internet based E–Commerce solution for tracking Internet–based sales

transactions for a national distributor. Responsibilities also included automating back–end

LINUX and UNIX processes to better manage and support electronic publishing operations for

IEEE journals, which utilized TeX and SGML.

Managed OASIS development and support operations for Western Area Power Administration.

This included team tasking, development, reporting, and deployment support for the Western

Node; as well as supporting their Operation’s Center along with their customer base.

Project support

included managing software/hardware requirements, evaluating software

upgrades, prototyping client/server applications, software coding, and developing dynamic

Web interfaces.

Managed industry system compliance for the Western OASIS Node to support the NERC

Standards for Open Access mandates required for Transmission Providers (FERC Orders: 888,

889, and 2000). Included also was attendance at Standards and Implementation meetings by

NERC and FERC in connection with the Open Access initiatives held throughout the country.

Some attendance at ISO meetings were also part of my tasks to disseminate the information

gathered to the Desert Southwest Region for compliance purposes.

Developed Western’s Transmission Information Portal (TIP) repository and Website to provide

Customers with information regarding their transmission/energy usage and services.

Managed system hardware support for Windows NT/2000 servers, HPUX UNIX servers, and

provided Oracle server administration.
