Responsibilities:

-          Full life cycle development for our internal sales lead management ASP.NET application called Opportunity Management. Currently serving as the Global Design Lead for the Tetra Pak order fulfillment ASP.NET application Channel.Connect. Managed a team of 8 developers split between Denton Texas and Singapore.

-          Met with business stake holder to gather requirements and outline business rules.

-          Scope entire project plan to verify it met our budgetary requirements.

-          Designed MS SQL 2005 Database insuring referential integrity and optimized indexes for table reads.

-          Re-architected the web application in ASP.NET and C#. The application was logically designed with objects that supported the data layer, the business layer and the presentation layer.

-          Designed key functionality to include security, customer administration, status tracking, quick search and advanced search features.

-          Created the mechanism to transfer data from the MS SQL database to SAP Business Warehouse.

-          Completed all unit testing and coordinated user acceptance testing

-          Supported the application post roll out to our production environment.

 

04/06 - 02/07 Dallas Cowboys, Irving, TX

Responsibilities:

-          Created web and windows based applications for the Dallas Cowboys Scouting department.

-          Created a new data database to house college player data using SQL 2005 that maximized system usability but did not reduce the relationships from our data provider (National Scouting).

-          Designed and developed an administrative web application in ASP.NET 2.0 that utilized Microsoft’s best practices. This application allowed the Director of Scouting and the director of college scouting to manage college player evaluations, generate reports and assign work to the college football scouts.

-          Created a windows application in vb.NET 2.0 that consumed a web service, retrieved an xml stream, decrypted the data and generated post game player participation reports. These reports were used in trending player performances.

-          Maintained an existing player personnel management web application written in asp.NET 1.1. This included adding new functionality and converting existing reports from Crystal Report to MS SQL Reporting.

 

03/05 – 04/06 Beryl Companies, Bedford, TX

Responsibilities:

-          Responsible for managing a team of six developers. Wrote and maintained several call center applications in vb.NET and VB 6

-          Created a change control management web application in ASP.NET 2.0. This application gives the user a selection of directories on the development server. Once a directory has been selected, all subdirectories and files are shown in a datagrid. The user can move or delete these subdirectories and files from the QA server. The application also employs Company file security rules.

-          Wrote a multi-threaded vb.NET Windows service that received caller demographic information from the CRM application, consumed a web service to query to retrieve an xml stream of what types of mailings the caller had previously been sent. The service then evaluated the mailing strategy and the callers demographics combined with whether the caller was enrolling in a class or looking for a physician to cross sell other services for a specific hospital.  The caller’s response is recorded and used to redefine hospital marketing strategies.

Developer

 

Responsibilities:

-          Made modifications and added new functionality to the True.com web site and the customer service admin application.

-          Wrote a multi-threaded C# Windows service that processes 290,000 users a day. Each user is run through a series of business rules that finds 10 other users based on gender, location, age and attractiveness. The resulting matches are emailed to the user twice a week. This process is responsible for 17% of all activity on True.com.

-          Created a web-based application that mirrors some of the functionalities in the above mentioned application. This email is sent when a user first signs up on True.com. The Welcome BatchMatch email has a 61% open rate.
